Having graduated with, a Juris Doctor degree from Roger Williams University School of Law, a Bachelor's degree in finance with a minor in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's Charlton School of Business, and an Associate Degree in business administration from Bristol Community College, Chris has the ability to understand personal and business legal issues from multiple perspectives.
Chris is a lifelong resident of Swansea, MA and a dedicated public servant, currently serving as Swansea Selectman, among other volunteer positions. Chris was awarded the Bristol Community College Outstanding Alumni Award in 2017, in recognition of his significant achievements and contributions to the legal profession and for his commitment to serve others. In 2012, the Massachusetts state legislature recognized Chris with the Massachusetts Portuguese Heritage Award, recognizing Chris for having made selfless contributions to his community. In 2010, Chris was awarded the Fall River Herald News Best and Brightest Award, recognizing him for his service to the community and as a member of the next generation of community leaders..
Chris has provided over 400 hours of pro bono legal services to the Bristol County District Attorney's Taunton Office and the Committee for Public Counsel Services' Fall River Office. Chris has a strong draw to public service and joined the Swansea Volunteer Fire Department, serving as a volunteer firefighter for over a decade.
When Chris is not advocating for his clients, teaching college students, and volunteering in the community, you will find him spending time with family and friends.
